Abdallah Chocolates are the type of beautiful mouthwatering chocolates you see in the window of a quaint town gift shop. That is what initially drew me in about 4 years ago when we started including a variety of Abdallah chocolates and candies in our gift baskets.

With two locations in Apple Valley and Burnsville, MN, Abdallah is a four generation family business, started in 1909. The last 108 years saw them through the great depression, World War II, and a fire in 1965 that destroyed their business. However, through perseverance and a family dedication to the original family recipes, this candy making family has sustained their original recipe confections, still made in small batches with wholesome and pure ingredients.

And while I chose them for their small town feel, I have recently seen them at Macy's candy counter as well. So they have a reach that spans stores of all shapes and sizes! Abdallah Chocolates are perfect for our gift baskets because they are unique, beautifully packaged, and great tasting. 

Our Chicago themed mug and toffee gift set features Abdallah cashew butter toffee, and although it might not be made in Chicago, it is one of my favorite treats. So it pairs well with my favorite city themed gift set!
