There are two flavors that kick it into high gear this time of year: pumpkin and caramel apple. Two of my favorite flavors of autumn! While caramel apples themselves conjure up wonderful childhood memories, as adults we’ve taken the flavor to new heights. There’s nothing quite like a warm caramel apple crisp for dessert on a cold Saturday evening. Slow Cooker Caramel Apple Crumble – I love that this is made in the slow cooker for ease of baking. Makes it a great dessert to make ahead, bring for your next fall camping trip, and heat over the fire.

Caramel Apple Cupcakes – Spice cake is one of my fall/winter favorites. These delicious cupcakes start with a tasty spice cake flavored with chopped apples. Topped in layers of caramel apple dip and rich cream frosting, these will be the most decadent dessert of the season!

Caramel Apple Pie Magic Bars – Magic bars are always an easy delicious dessert for any occasion, and these are especially festive for the fall season. Call it a mix between a caramel apple and apple pie. Perfect!

Salted Caramel Apple Butter Bars – For those who love the mix of sweet and salty, these butter bars are just right. Combine salted caramel with fresh chopped apple, solidify it with a buttery shortbread crust, and you have the perfect treat!
